Part of the party is making your own arts and crafts. Led by local artists and artisans, the whole family can create wearable crafts and take home their new works of art. This activity is led by Joelle Lavallée.

Iqaluit is one of 19 cities across Canada selected to launch Canada 150 with a New Years Eve party for the whole community. We’re celebrating Iqaluit-style with a family-friendly party, a full afternoon concert featuring local performers and toe tapping tunes, and ending in a spectacular sea-ice fireworks display.
