Ulu-making and Panna-making Workshop in November 2017

The Iqaluit Action Lab is hosting an ulu-making and panna-making workshop on November 4, 2017 at Inukshuk High School. This workshop is once again offered free for adults over 19 years, and participation will be determined by lottery.

Matthew Alainga will lead this ulu-making and panna-making workshop on Saturday November 4 from 10am-6pm. Twelve people will make their own carbon steel ulu or stainless-steel panna. All materials will be supplied.

Interested residents should register their name before Wednesday November 1st at 5pm. Be sure to leave contact information including telephone number and/or email. The lucky participants will have their names drawn from a hat and will be announced on Facebook on November 1st at 6pm.

There are three (3) ways to register: send a text to 867-223-0290, leave a comment on our Facebook page (@Canada150Iqaluit), or send an email to iqaluitactionlab@gmail.com.

These workshops are a part of Canada150 celebrations, thanks to funding from the Government of Canada.
